Omega
1947 Omega Automatic Dress Watch 14K YG (Ref. F 6516) Silver Guilloche Dial
The world of vintage Omega is vast. It's filled with interesting and unique references, to a degree, unlike almost any other manufacturer. This is true whether you're looking for something for racing, dressing up, diving, or any other function. Omega does it all – and does it all to the nines.
Case in point, this gorgeous 14k gold automatic dress watch from the '40s. It may not have one of the famous monikers on the dial (Seamaster, DeVille, etc) but it makes up for it with a demure, timeless, intricate dial, that in some ways, is even better. The incredible ribbon-style guilloche finish of the dial is absolutely stunning, also uncommonly seen with Omega, and is finished with an elegant Breguet numeral at 12 o'clock.

CASE & BRACELET
The 14K yellow gold case is in exceptional condition, showcasing the original case dimensions and angles in impressively crisp condition with only light signs of previous polishing present. The Omega crown is believed to be and early OEM Omega replacement. The case back features an engraving that reads "Well Done, E.K.W., 1950". The watch comes supplied on a two-piece leather strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The original and beautifully executed silver dial features a gorgeously executed ribbon-like guilloche finish with alternating gold pyramid and block markers, a drilled minute track, and a Breguet numeral at 12 o'clock. The dial itself exhibits gentle, yet expected, wear for the age of the watch. The original dauphine hands are in excellent condition with minor oxidation present.
