1959 Rolex DateJust 18k YG (Ref. 6605)
A stunning classic! This specific 1969 DateJust Ref. 6605 in 18k yellow gold is one of the nicest examples of the reference we have ever seen. The case retains the original Rolex factory bursting as does the base back. The solid 18k bracelet is also in stunning condition and shows very minimal stretch. The Rolex coronet on the buckle is also sharp and as it would have come from the factory in 1959 which is rare for 18k YG watches of this era. The dial is flawless and the lume plots have achieved a wonderful deep creamy patina.

The case of this Rolex DateJust Ref. 6605 is sharp and stunning. The case retains the original Rolex factory bursting as does the base back. The solid 18k bracelet is also in stunning condition and shows very minimal stretch. In addition, the Rolex coronet on the buckle is also sharp and as it would have come from the factory in 1959 which is rare for 18k YG watches of this era. The fluted bezel is also in wonderful condition and shows a finer fluting which is almost coin edge like in appearance which is also correct for this specific era of DateJust.
DIAL & HANDS
The "PiePan" dial is in absolutely stunning and flawless condition. The tritium lume plots have taken on a wonderful golden custard-like patina that mates the hands perfectly and there is no lume degradation present.
ACCESSORIES
None. Watch just received a full and complete service and is running at COSC spec backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
