1968 Rolex Oyster-Perpetual Date (Ref. 1510) 18k YG "Zephyr Date"
The Rolex Zephyr is a particular style of vintage Oyster Perpetual and Oyster Perpetual Date watch that sports a distinct dial design and bezel style. The Zephyr dial features a cross-hair motif that divides the dial into four different sections and also lacks the more commonly seen applied markers.
Most Rolex "Zephyr" models are oyster perpetual making the Zephyer Date examples like this Ref. 1510 rare and very seldomly seen. The Rolex Ref 1510 in yellow gold offers a unique dappled finish to the bezel, which in this specific example is in outstanding condition. The non-luminous champagne crosshair or Zephyr dial is in flawless condition making this example worthy of the most discerning collector.
