1973 Rolex Datejust (Ref.1601) Blue Dial

CASE & BRACELET

The excellent case has been lightly polished in the past retaining very full and even lugs. The white gold fluted bezel is in wonderful condition and appears to have been lightly polished. The Rolex 6251H rolled-link Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces has been polished in the past, retaining 22 links and showing normal stretch for this style bracelet and its age. 

DIAL & HANDS

The stunning blue sunburst dial is in exceptional condition and is very uncommon for these earlier Datejust references. The tritium lume plots have aged to a charming yellow coloration, under U.V. light inspection the lume plots remain full and round showing no degradation. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly, under U.V. light inspection the hour hand shows some light degradation, the minute hand remains fully intact. The silver date wheel is era correct with open 6's and 9's, it is correct and common for the 26 to be closed.

ACCESSORIES 

None. Watch was just serviced and running at COSC spec. The watch will come with a 1-year warranty of accurate timekeeping.
