1973 Rolex Datejust (Ref. 1601) Grey Dial W/ Rolex Guarantee Paper

This 1973 Datejust ref. 1601 retains its original Grey "pie-pan" stick marker dial and is in excellent condition with its original Jubilee bracelet and white gold fluted bezel. CASE & BRACELET
The strong case retains very thick and symmetrical lugs that exhibit minimal signs of previous polishing with light signs of previous use. The white gold fluted bezel shows crisp edges and is in excellent overall condition with only minor signs of use present. The original Rolex 6251H rolled-link Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces retains 12 links that show light stretch for the style and age of the bracelet and will fit up to a 7 1/2-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original grey sunburst "pie-pan" dial with black text features a slight lavender coloration but remains mostly grey in color. The dial exhibits some gentle aging that is mostly unnoticeable to the naked eye but offers a charming vintage aesthetic. Despite the subtle aging no actual scratches or damage is present on the dial. The tritium lume plots have achieved a charming creamy-yellow patina, under UV light inspection the 3 o'clock plot shows light degradation with the rest of the lume plots showing no degradation. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly with no degradation present under UV light inspection. The metallic date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
