1974 Rolex Datejust (Ref. 1603) Silver "Sigma" Dial
The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and most beloved Rolex watches ever made. A Sigma dial is a Rolex dial named for the letters printed at the bottom of the dial at the 6 o'clock position. Most Rolex dials are commonly marked with “T Swiss T,” under the 6 o'clock marker, however, a Sigma dial is marked “σ T SWISS T σ.” This signifies the use of gold components within the dial.

CASE & BRACELET
The exceptionally well-preserved case is believed to remain unpolished, featuring very thick lugs that all remain symmetrical in dimension and feature crisp factory finishing throughout. The case shows gentle signs of use, but no major signs of wear. The stainless steel engine-turned bezel is also in crisp unpolished condition, showing only gentle signs of previous use. The Rolex 6251H rolled-link Jubilee bracelet with 55 end pieces is stamped 3/71 and retains 22 links that show only moderate stretch and will fit up to a 7 3/4-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The silver "pie-pan" sunburst "Sigma" dial is in virtually flawless condition, showing no damage and nominal aging. The tritium lume plots have aged to a charming creamy patina and exhibit no degradation when inspected under U.V. light. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly with no degradation present under U.V. light inspection. The metallic date wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch is keeping time perfectly backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
