1975 Rolex Two-Tone Datejust (Ref. 1601) Satin Lemon Dial
The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and most beloved Rolex watches ever made, even though the Datejust was launched in 1945 it has remained a timeless classic and is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. CASE & BRACELET
The impressive case retains extremely thick and symmetrical lugs that show crisp finishing with honest signs of use throughout. The yellow gold fluted bezel is in exceptional unpolished condition and has achieved a unique and sticking patina. The original Rolex 6252H 14 two-tone Jubilee with 255 end pieces retains 20 links that show only mild stretch for its age and style, and will fit up to a 7 1/2-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original "pie-pan" satin yellow dial is in superb original condition and is virtually flawless. The tritium lume plots have aged to a charming golden coloration, under U.V. light inspection the 8 and 9 o'clock markers exhibit some light degradation and the rest of the lume plots are fully intact. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly and show no degradtion when inspected under U.V. light. The metallic gold datge wheel is original with "open" 6's and 9's.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
