1984 Rolex Submariner (Ref. 5513) "Spider Dial"

The Rolex Submariner Reference 5513 is the embodiment of the classic dive watch. The 5513 is simple yet sophisticated and rugged. In 1983 the Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 experienced a transition with the dial format that was offered within the reference. Rolex transitioned away from the previously offered matte dial's which entered production in late 1966 and moved to the more modern and contemporary dial that featuring a glossy dial pared with white gold luminous filled plotted and hands ending the matte dial era for the Submariner. This same dial can still be seen in modern Rolex production even to this day. This specific 1984 Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 would make a versatile and collectible daily driver.
