1989 Rolex Two-Tone Datejust (Ref. 16233) "Peaches & Cream" Roman Numeral Dial
The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and beloved Rolex watches ever made. This classic dress watch has been produced by the Swiss luxury watchmaker since 1945 and has remained a timeless classic that is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. The Datejust was designed for everyday wear, and its sleek and elegant design makes it one of the most universally loved watches for both men and women.
The Rolex Datejust ref. 16233 is a transitional reference as it features a tritium dial but features numerous upgrades such as a sapphire crystal and the Rolex Cal. 3135 movement which features a quick-set date function.
The beautifully creamy peach Roman numeral dial started life completely white and earned this exceptional patina through time and age. Accompanied by thick-font Roman numerals on the dial and an impressive two-tone case, this Rolex Datejust ref. 16233 is genuinely unique but also versatile enough for everyday wear.
