*Unpolished* 1993 Rolex Two-Tone Datejust (Ref. 16233) W/ Factory Diamond "Houndstooth" Dial
The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and beloved Rolex watches ever made. This classic dress watch has been produced by the Swiss luxury watchmaker since 1945 and has remained a timeless classic that is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. The Datejust was designed for everyday wear, and its sleek and elegant design makes it one of the most universally loved watches for both men and women.

The Rolex Datejust ref. 16233 is a transitional reference as it features a tritium dial but features numerous upgrades such as a sapphire crystal and the Rolex Cal. 3135 movement which features a quick-set date function.

CASE & BRACELET
The unpolished case retains exceptional dimensions and crisp finishing through the thick and symmetrical lugs, and shows signs of gentle use. The unpolished 18K yellow gold bezel is in impressive condition and has achieved a tasteful rosy/purple patina. The case back retains its original green Rolex inventory sticker, which shows expected light age. The original Rolex 62523 H18 two-tone Jubilee bracelet with 455B end piece continues the rosy/purple patina in the gold and retains 22 links that show light stretch and will fit up to a 7 3/4-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The original, rare, and flawless silver and gold houndstooth dial features factory-set diamond markers and gold Roman numerals. This unique dial is rarely seen especially in this well-preserved of condition. The tritium lume plots remain a bright ivory color and exhibit no degradation under U.V. light inspection. The original tritium hands match the dial and display no degradation under U.V. light inspection.
