1940s Lumier Watch Co Chronograph "Venus Cal. 150"
Not much is known about this stunning chronograph from Lumier Watch Co, but the Venus cal. 150 movement as its heartbeat is a stunning display of early chronograph engineering. The Venus cal. 150 was featured in Gallet, Breitling, and Fortis watches as well as many other notable companies during its employment from 1938 to 1960. The cal. 150 is a manual wind movement with a running seconds counter at 9 o'clock and a 45-minute timer at 3 o'clock.

CASE & BRACELET
The early case is beautifully preserved and appears to have been only lightly polished in the past, retaining full and symmetrical lugs that display only light signs of use. The pump-pushers are believed to be the original to the watch, the unsigned crown may or may not be original. The case back retains its factory markings in deep and crisp condition. The watch will come supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The original silver dial has taken on a lovely warm patina and shows appropriate age which makes for an attractive vintage aesthetic. The radium lume Arabic numeral markers have taken on a very dark, almost black patina and show no degradation when inspected under U.V. light. The original blue steel hands have been professionally restored with radium and have a dark tan coloration.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch has recently been serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
