1950s Crawford Chronograph
This pilot chronograph produced by the Crawford Watch Corp is nothing short of beautiful, the classic up/down chronograph dial has achieved a gorgeous warm patina with lumed Arabic numerals and gorgeous blued steel kite hands. The tall case remains modest in diameter but bold in design, and the fixed outer bezel is marked with large numerals for easy legibility is especially interesting.
Crawford was known for using the Breitling platform for producing many of their watches, however, are seldom seen being offered on the open market. For an under-the-radar watch that features strong swiss mechanicals, this pilot's chronograph by Crawford Watch Corp would be an excellent addition to any collectors growing collection.

CASE & BRACELET
The thick case retains full and symmetrical lugs that display some light corrosion and signs of use, which is common for watches from this era. The fixed stainless steel outer bezel is in excellent condition and displays light signs of use. The pump pushers and unsigned crown are believed to remain original.
DIAL & HANDS
The dial has aged to present a beautiful vintage aesthetic, showing light spotting which is appropriate for the watches age and a charming warm patina throughout. All of the original text including the outer telemeter and inner blue tachymeter scale remain in excellent condition. The radium arabic numerals have aged to a handsome tan patina and exhibit no degradation when inspected under U.V. light. The original blued steel radium-lumed kite hands are in remarkable condition and display no degradation under U.V. light inspection.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch is keeping time and functioning perfectly, previous service history is unknown.
