Patek Philippe
1980s Ladies Patek Philippe Two-Tone Nautilus (Ref. 4700/1)
Designed by Gerald Genta, the Patek Philippe Nautilus is a 1970s icon. Although the Patek Nautilus reference 3700 AKA the “jumbo” case, with its 42mm diameter case, was the initial Gerald Genta design offered by Patek, there have been various other sizes introduced over the years to accommodate different wrist sizes and preferences. Case in point, this ref. 4700/1, which was designed more specifically for women with its diminutive 25mm case size. But make no mistake, this is a Nautilus through-and-through, no matter the size. As such, it is a design icon and has set the standard for the perfect anywhere anytime style of watch that could pair with quite literally anything you might want to wear.
