1995 Seiko Automatic Day-Date (Ref. 7009-8009-P) Argyle Dial
It doesn't get much more classic than a day-date style watch. Generally speaking, what more do you need than to tell the time and remind yourself that, "Still Monday, huh?" But when you underpin that classic-ness with a preppy argyle dial, it imbues a whole 'nother vibe to the piece. Add to that the cal. 7009 movement beating inside, which was the precursor to the 7S26 movement we know today, and you've got a really fun, solidly built daily wearer.

DIAL & HANDS
The original black and brown argyle dial is clean and legible with silver markers and exhibits some light marks from age. The lume dots at each hour marker are in great condition and still bright white. The original stick-shaped silver hands are in fantastic condition with lume that matches the dial perfectly.
