1950 Omega Seamaster Calendar (Ref. 2627) 14K YG "Honeycomb"

The 14K yellow gold Seamaster case is very impressive, boasts almost no signs of wear and sharp chamfers down the lugs. The smooth 14K yellow gold bezel is, as the case, in beautiful condition showing no signs of use. The case retains its original Omega signed yellow gold “flat foot” crown. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.  

The original champagne honeycomb dial has a beautiful warm patina and is in excellent vintage condition with light signs of aging that are consistent throughout. The radium lume remains intact and has taken on a dark patina, under U.V. light inspection the lume shows some light degradation throughout which is common for this dial variant. The original radium yellow gold dauphine hands match the dial nicely, under U.V. light inspection the hour hand shows minimal degradation and remains stable, the minute hand was previously repaired with a lighter colored lume about halfway through the middle of the hand.
