Omega
1954 Omega Constellation 18K YG (Ref. 2799 SC) Mirrored-Gold "Pie-Pan" Dial
While today the Constellation line is overshadowed by Omega's Speedmaster and Seamaster models, the striking Omega Constellation family was once the flagship in the Omega collection.
Dating back to 1952, the Omega Constellation has been regarded as one of the most luxurious and precise watch collections offered by the brand. Add to that the fact that they have always been chronometer-rated, and you have a watch that is not only stunning in nearly any setting but also incredibly accurate.
Featuring an 18K yellow gold case, pie-pan dial, and dauphine hands, this ref. 2799 SC Omega Constellation is the most luxurious and top-of-the-line example available at its time of production. Today, it remains in extremely well-cared-for and very well-persevered condition, with an exceptionally unique tropical patina to the iconic pie-pan dial.

CASE & BRACELET
The luxurious and stylish 18K yellow gold case is in beautiful condition, appearing to have only been polished once in its past as the original case geometry and finishing are strong throughout. The case retains its original yellow gold Omega-signed crown. The case back is in exceptional condition, showing minimal signs of use with the Omega Constellation Observatory medallion in very crisp condition. The watch comes supplied on a 2pc handmade leather strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The original two-toned "pie-pan" applied logo dial is simply incredible and remarkably well-preserved. The outer portion of the dial, which hosts the ornate markers, is polished gold with a mirrored finish that adds depth and delightfully reflects light. The center of the dial is a contrasting satin gold finish which features an elegant oxidation and rosy patina. The dial as a whole exhibits minimal elements of age and no damage. The original solid gold dauphine hands are in exceptional condition with no damage or oxidation present.
