Hamilton
1990s Hamilton Chronomatic II (Ref. 9988) Black Dial
Hamilton was founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1882, initially specializing in producing pocket watches. The brand boasts a long and impressive history of breakthroughs in design and technology and perhaps is best known for its extensive work as the official supplier to the U.S. Armed Forces.
But it wasn't strictly military styles for the brand, as evidenced in part by this fantastic "reverse panda" dial chronograph, which looks like it would be much more at home behind a steering wheel than a joystick. It's one of the many very cool offerings from this brand, which tap into American heritage like no other watch brand can.
