1973 Rolex Submariner (Ref. 5513)
The Rolex Submariner Reference 5513 is the embodiment of the classic dive watch. The 5513 is simple yet sophisticated and rugged. The ref. 5513 was first introduced in 1962 and ceased production in late 1989. The Ref. 5513 is a purpose-built dive watch that lacks the date function like other Rolex Submariner models. (eg. Ref. 1680.)
This specific 1973 Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 checks all the vintage must-haves for a reference 5513. The dial has taken on a wonderful patina, and the lume plots and hands have aged to a wonderful yellow patina. The overall aesthetic of this watch is everything we love about vintage submariners. This Rolex Submariner reference 5513 would make a great daily driver as it's appropriate for any style and setting.
