1984 Rolex Submariner (Ref. 5513) "Spider Dial"
The Rolex Submariner Reference 5513 is the embodiment of the classic dive watch. The 5513 is simple yet sophisticated and rugged. The Ref. 5513 was first introduced in the 1962 and ceased production in late 1989. The Ref. 5513 is a purpose-built dive watch that lacks the date function like other Rolex Submariner models.
This specific 1984 Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 is in absolutely stunning condition and would make a versatile daily driver. Appropriate in a wide variety of settings, from casual everyday wear to pairing perfectly with a suit or sports coat. This Ref. 5513 is everything we love about vintage "no-date" submariners, but with some of the modern nuances that make it wonderfully functional. Perfect as a new addition to an existing collection, or would be a unique stand alone vintage piece.

CASE & BRACELET
The excellent case shows signs of being previously polished, retaining full and even lugs, showing light wear. The original insert remains dark black in coloration with little to no signs of wear, retaining the original tritium pearl which matches the dial. The Rolex 93150 Oyster bracelet with 580 end pieces has been previously polished and exhibits some stretch from use.
DIAL & HANDS
The glossy black "Spider" dial is absolutely gorgeous. The tritium filled white gold surround lume plots have aged to a desirable golden patina, and show no lume degradation under U.V. light inspection. The original tritium hands match the dial perfectly and exhibit minor cracking in the lume under U.V. light inspection.
