1995 Rolex Sea-Dweller (Ref. 16600) Complete Set
Rolex implemented major changes to the Sea-Dweller starting in 1981. The sapphire crystal became standard starting with the Ref. 16660 and major developments were implemented into the model which included a uni-directional bezel as opposed to the bi-directional bezel found in previous examples, a larger and more reliable helium escape valve was added, and we see the introduction of the first solid end link (SEL) bracelets with the Ref. 93160 bracelets with attached 592 end links becoming standard around 1981-1982. The Sea-Dweller also received a new movement, the Cal. 3035 which allowed for Quick-Set date function.
In the early 1980's Rolex was working very closely with the Compagnie Maritime d' Expertise Company (COMEX) to develop a tool watch to accompany the company's divers who started to work at deeper depths as a result of increasing mixed gas diving standards of early 1980's and the Ref. 16660 is a perfect example of the two company's partnership to achieve a tool watch to meet specific needs.
This 1995 Rolex Sea-Dweller ref. 16600 is a full collectors set, featuring every accessory as if you were to buy it new today. And not to mention its condition is excellent as well. This watch includes its original boxes and guarantee papers, booklets, and even down to the decompression card provided by Rolex as well as a Rolex made spring bar tool. This is and excellent daily piece for collectors who both love watches and Rolex memorabilia.

CASE & BRACELET
The strong case has been lightly polished in the past, retaining full and even lugs and crown guards that show honest light sings of use. The original uni-directional click spring bezel remain deep black in coloration with only light signs of use, and retains its tritium pearl at the 12 o'clock position which has aged to nice ivory coloration. The casebook appears to remain completely unpolished, retaining all of its original factory enamel filled engravings. The original 93160 Oyster bracelet with 592B solid end pieces is in wonderful unpolished condition, showing very little stretch and retains 13 links.
DIAL & HANDS
The glossy black dial with white gold surround markers is absolutely flawless, showing no imperfections or signs of aging. The tritium lume plots remain bright, showing only a slight ivory patina in the sunlight and exhibit no degradation under U.V. light inspection. The original tritium hands match the dial nicely, under U.V. light inspection the post of the hour hand shows a very small dot of missing lume, the minute hand remains fully intact.
