NOS 1980s Hamilton Khaki Field Watch (Ref. 921980) W/ Box & Accessories

Hamilton was founded in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1882 and initially specialized in producing pocket watches. The brand boasts a long and impressive history of breakthroughs in design and technology, and is probably best known for its military associations and fantastic field watches.

The Khaki is arguably the brand's most recognized line, a commercial version of their military watches, featuring no-frills, hard-wearing pieces as a result. Case in point, this ref. 921980 from the '80s. CASE & BRACELET

The bead-blasted antireflective stainless steel case is completely unpolished and in NOS condition, even still retaining its original caseback sticker. The bead-blasted smooth bezel also is in exceptional condition. The case retains its original signed, bead-blasted crown. The case back retains all of its original markings with no marks or wear present at all. The watch comes supplied on an original single-pass nylon ribbon strap. The watch also comes with an additional unworn single pass nylon strap as well.

DIAL & HANDS

The original matte black dial is in well-preserved and beautiful condition, showing no damage or notable signs of age. The tritium lume plots and original tritium hands have taken on a matching creamy yellow and exhibit no degradation when inspected under U.V. light.
