1970 Rolex Submariner (Ref. 5513)
The Rolex Submariner Reference 5513 is the embodiment of the classic dive watch. Simple and sophisticated, yet also rugged, the 5513 is a purpose-built dive watch. The absence of the date function seen on other Submariner models (eg. Ref. 1680.) contributes to the clean look of this archetypal style. First introduced in 1962, Rolex produced the reference until 1989.
This specific 1970 Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 is in absolutely stunning condition and checks all the vintage must-haves for a reference 5513. The lume plots and hands have taken on a wonderful patina and the overall appearance of this watch embodies everything we love about vintage submariners. This specific Rolex Submariner reference 5513 is would make a great daily driver and would look just as appropriate paired with a suit as it would with your favorite pair of jeans!
