Croton

1950s Croton Chronograph (Ref. 1198)

Croton began its roots in New York circa 1878 but was formally introduced as Croton Watch Co. in 1928 when the company began assembling watches under its own name.

This triple-register chronograph ref. 1198, despite being from the '50s, has distinct WWI vibes, with its large and patinated radium-lumed hour numerals. A beautiful early offering from the Croton name, which is most typically known for its Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver watches of the 1970s.
