1971 Seiko Automatic World Time (Ref. 6117-6400)
The Seiko World Time debuted in 1964 as a commemoration of the Tokyo Summer Olympics. It's a beautiful watch, indeed, but also an incredible tool watch with an interior bezel that features an eclectic array of a whopping 26 cities from around the globe, allowing the wearer to track two time zones simultaneously and guaranteed to charm anyone with a passion for international travel.
The ref. 6117-6400 is a later iteration of the World Time, and one of the most refined models as a result.

CASE & BRACELET
The case exhibits normal signs of use and has been lightly polished. The white interior World Time bezel is in excellent condition and shows no signs of degradation. The case back retains its original serial and reference number engravings in clear and visible condition. The watch comes on a 2pc handmade leather strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The original white dial is in excellent condition, showing minimal signs of age. The lume on the original hands has aged to a creamy patina, showing no degradation when inspected under UV light. The original red 24-hour hand lume has aged to match the lume on the hour and minute hands and shows no degradation when inspected under UV light. The original white quickset date wheel is in excellent condition.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch is running and functioning correctly, though the service history is unknown. A movement service can be purchased upon request.
