1973 Rolex Datejust (Ref. 1603) Non-Luminous Black "Confetti Dial"
The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and most beloved Rolex watches ever made, even though the Datejust was launched in 1945 it has remained a timeless classic and is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. The Datejust can be worn just as easily with a suit as it can be with jeans and a tee-shirt. The Datejust would make a great start for a new vintage collector, or be a great addition to an expanding collection.
The multi-colored "confetti" dials are coveted among collectors, not only for the sheer rarity of these dials but also for the subtle yet vibrant details that are truly unique amongst Rolex dials as a whole. The term "confetti" is in reference to the compilation of individual colors that make up the single base color of the dial, creating a colorful and speckled dial appearance when observed up close.

CASE & BRACELET
The thick and symmetrical case is in very well-preserved condition, displaying only a light sleeve polish from wear and light signs of honest use throughout. The stainless steel engine-turned bezel remains unpolished and exhibits light signs of use. The case back is believed to remain unpolished as well, showing its factoring brushing and finishing. The later Rolex 62510H Jubilee bracelet with 555 end pieces retains 20 links that show light stretch from use.
DIAL & HANDS
The rare and original non-luminous matte black "confetti" dial is in flawless original condition, showing no blemishes or signs of age. This confetti dial is comprised of blue, yellow, red, and green specks that are consistently present throughout the heavy matte texture of the dial. The white enamel inlaid non-luminous hands are in excellent condition. The metallic date wheel is original with open 6's and 9's.

None. Watch is keeping time at spec and was recently serviced.
