2002 Rolex Two-tone Submariner Ref. 16613
During the late 1960's Rolex began producing the immensely popular Submariner dive watch in luxurious 18K YG thus creating a dressed up variant of a notably sporty watch. The addition of a yellow gold submariner variant offered a watch that could shift effortlessly from adventuresome events in the ocean to classy occasions on land. However the demand for a more durable stainless steel case along with the luxury elements of gold become in higher demand, therefore, the more utilitarian two tone Submariner references were created in 1984 with the 16803. The Rolex Ref. 16613 began production in 1988 as an upgraded reference of the two-tone Submariner line.
