Modello Due U2S-MB "Limited Edition"

While UNIMATIC has only been around since 2015, what the brand lacks in legacy it more than makes up for with a perfect blend of vintage-inspired style and sturdy, modern materials. Founded in Milan, Italy, by a couple of industrial designers, UNIMATIC has made a name for itself by crafting timeless, minimalist models, many of which are limited edition offerings. And they make every watch in Italy, each individually numbered, while using tried-and-true movements from Seiko and Sellita to keep them both affordable and reliable. 

The Modello Due is UNIMATIC’s military-inspired field watch. And while its standard black-and-silver motif makes it super classic and versatile, sometimes you just need something a little different. In this case, that difference comes in the form of a rich, chocolatey brown dial plus a brown two-piece calf suede leather strap with signed stainless steel brushed hardware and an extra mocha brown two-piece seatbelt strap. 

Aside from the obvious aesthetic updates, there’s the added improvement of a case that’s 45% thinner than that of the standard Due, thanks to the Swiss-made Sellita SW200-1 movement beating underneath the case back.

You get the same 300m of water resistance as the U2C in a slightly smaller 38mm case size, but the best/worst part is that they decided to keep the production run to a mere 500 pieces, meaning you can get yours now… or never. We suggest the former.
