Movado released water-resistant wristwatches in the mid-1930s, by the early 1960s Movado was producing dive watches to contend with the era's greater-known offerings from names like Rolex, Omega, Heuer & Tudor.

CASE & BRACELET
The wonderful gold capped case retains its angular lugs and shows very minimal signs of use. The gold crown is believed to be original to the watch. The screw-down case back remains in excellent condition. The watch will come supplied on a 2pc leather strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The stunning dial with 3, 6, 9, & 12 Arabic numerals has taken on a beautiful streaked and spotted patina that is consistent throughout. The radium lume plots have taken on a lovely sandy patina and show mild degradation throughout when inspected under U.V. light. The original radium hands match the dial perfectly, under U.V. light inspection the minute hand shows a small repair in the lume near its base and remains stable, the hour hand is fully intact.

None. The watch is keeping time and is in perfect working condition, previous service history is unknown.
