*Unpolished* 1974 Rolex Oyster-Perpetual Date (Ref. 1501) Grey Sigma Dial
This unique and somewhat rare piece would make a great start for a new vintage collector, or be a great addition to an expanding collection. Providing a classic feel while bringing a unique look on wrist. A "Sigma dial" is a Rolex dial named for the letters printed at the bottom of the dial at the 6 o'clock position. Most Rolex dials are commonly marked with “T Swiss T,” under the 6 o'clock marker, however, a Sigma dial is marked “σ T SWISS T σ.” This signifies the use of gold components within the dial.

CASE & BRACELET
The unpolished case is in exceptionally crisp and original condition, showing very light signs of honest use. The original engine-turned bezel is unpolished as well showing only gentle signs of use. The case back shows minimal wear while remaining unpolished with strong factory finishing. The original Rolex 7835 folded-link Oyster bracelet with 357 end pieces retains 12 links that show almost no stretch and will fit up to a 7-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The grey sunburst "Sigma" dial is in superb original condition, showing only minimal age spotting around a few markers and no damage whatsoever. The tritium lume plots have achieved a gorgeous yellow patina and exhibit no degradation under U.V. light inspection. the original tritium hands match the dial perfectly with no degradation present under U.V. light inspection. the metallic date wheel is original with open 6's and 9's.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
