1977 Seiko Automatic Chronograph (Ref. 6139-7100)
Fresh from the personal collection of style icon, automobile enthusiast, and Urban Outlaw himself, Magnus Walker, comes a 1977 Seiko Chronograph in fantastic condition.
While the title of "First Automatic Chronograph" is a heavily disputed claim (multiple watch companies somewhat simultaneously debuted what they claimed as "the first" automatic chronograph in 1969), there are many who believe Seiko are the rightful owners of that title with their cal. 6139 movement. It's the heartbeat of famed watches like the Speedtimer and legendary "Pogue" chronographs. And it beats within this beautiful piece as well, housed in a uniquely '70s-style case with a brooding dial and subtle hits of color throughout.

CASE & BRACELET
The excellent helmet-esque case has been very lightly polished in the past and retains very strong factory dimensions with light signs of honest use. The case retains its original pump pushers and recessed button crown. The case back features all of its original factory engravings in clear and legible condition. The watch will come supplied on its original stainless steel Seiko flat-link bracelet which will fit up to a 7 3/4-inch wrist and shows some stretch from use.
DIAL & HANDS
The matte black dial is in well-aged and charming vintage condition, showing subtle fading and elements of age around the dial. The outer edge of the dial features a tachymetre with a light blue print. The lume markers on the dial all remain intact with minor degradation present when inspected under UV light and have aged to a grey color. The original hands have been previously restored with luminova to match the dial. The yellow center chronograph and sub-dial hands add a nice pop of color.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch is keeping time, but the service history is unknown. A movement service can be provided upon request.
