Patek Philippe
1960s Patek Philippe Gondolo (Ref. 3467) 18K YG
The watch advert heard 'round the world. “You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation.” We're in the camp that this couldn't be more true. The craftsmanship of Patek Philippe wristwatches, surpassed by arguably no one for decades, has created a generational foundation for these watches to be passed down and to remain functional, relevant, and timeless for years to come.
The Gondolo line of wristwatches stems from a business relationship between Patek Philippe and Gondolo & Labouriau dating all the way back to 1872. Gondolo & Labouriau was a world-renowned jeweler based out of Rio de Janeiro during Brazil's economic boom of the 19th century through the early 20th century. Gondolo & Labouriau were in fact so successful at selling Patek Philippe watches, they accounted for more than a third of Patek sales worldwide during the two brands' partnership. The Gondolo line exists today as a celebration of this relationship, though Gondolo & Labouriau are no longer around. The watches under the Gondolo line cater to the fashionable enthusiast of wristwatches, with these unique designs being primarily cast in geometrical shapes with noble metals.

CASE & BRACELET
The unique 18K yellow gold tank-style rectangular case cast is in exceptional condition, showing minimal signs of previous use or wear for its 50+ years of age. The factory finishing and dimensions of the case remain intact through the "ribbed" texture of the front of the case. The case retains its original crown signed with the Patek Philippe cross. The original 18K yellow gold bracelet matches the case finish, making for a seamless aesthetic transition from the bracelet to the case. The bracelet will fit up to a 7 3/4-inch wrist and exhibit virtually no stretch from use.
DIAL & HANDS
The ribbed gold dial, like the bracelet, mimics the ribbed finish of the case for a unified and cohesive texture for the watch throughout. The dial shows no notable signs of age and no damage whatsoever. The black enameled markers and hands jump off the dial which makes telling the time highly legible, the markers and hands remain in excellent overall condition.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time perfectly, backed by a 1-year warranty on accurate timekeeping.
