1965 Seiko Lord Marvel (Ref. 5740-1990) "Gold Cap"
Before there was Grand Seiko, Lord Marvel represented the creme de la Seiko creme. Introduced in 1958, the Lord Marvel line featured super high-end movements, refined looks, and luxuriously simple designs. This ref. 5640-1990 is a prime example of that, featuring its gold-capped case, clean white dial with black script, and 23-jewel cal. 5740 movement. It's a gorgeous watch that would look great dressed up or going casual and something that would be a great heirloom piece as well.

CASE & BRACELET
The fantastic gold-capped case has been lightly polished and is in good vintage condition. It features its original crown. All factory engravings on the caseback are in excellent condition. Comes supplied on a two-piece handmade leather strap.
DIAL & HANDS
The original white dial is in excellent condition with gold rectangular markers at every hour. All the fonts and markers on the dial are in excellent condition. The original gold Dauphine hands are in excellent condition with some slight oxidation.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch is running and functioning correctly, though the service history is unknown. A movement service can be purchased upon request.
