Seiko
1972 Seiko Automatic Flyback Chronograph (Ref. 7016-8000) Blue Dial
Just three years after Seiko introduced the legendary cal. 6139 to the world, they one-upped themselves again with the cal. 7016 – a movement that was widely believed to be one of the most technically interesting calibers the brand had ever released. And it's no wonder why this movement has earned that distinction. Featuring not only a 12-hour recorder but also an especially unique subdial at 6 o'clock. That sub-dial offers two rotating hands in different colors, with the orange one counting 30 or 60 elapsed minutes, while the black one counts hours up to 12. It's an incredibly interesting movement inside an incredibly beautiful watch and a perfect piece to add to any collection.
