*Unpolished* 1974 Rolex Ladies Datejust 18K YG (Ref. 6917) Champagne "Sigma" Dial W/ Red Enamel Markers

The Rolex Datejust is one of the most iconic and beloved Rolex watches ever made. Ever since the Datejust was launched in 1945, it has remained a timeless classic and is instantly recognizable as an item of refined quality and functional design. This ladies' Datejust can be worn just as easily with formal evening attire as it can be with jeans and a tee shirt. This piece would make an excellent start for a new vintage collector or be a great addition to an expanding collection.

1973 Rolex Datejust (Ref. 6916) Lapis Dial

A Sigma dial is a Rolex dial named for the letters printed at the bottom of the dial at the 6 o'clock position. Most Rolex dials are commonly marked with “T Swiss T,” under the 6 o'clock marker, however, a Sigma dial is marked “σ T SWISS T σ.” This signifies the use of gold components within the dial.

A classic fluted bezel and unique red enameled markers on the dial accentuate the simple sophistication of the timepiece, making it appropriate to wear for nearly any occasion.
