Tudor
Tropical 1967 Tudor Submariner Gilt (Ref. 7928/0) "Lollipop"
The Tudor Submariner Ref. 7928 was first introduced in 1960. The Ref. 7928 is like the little brother to the Rolex 5513/5512 references as they share a lot of the same exact parts and although different they do share a lot of similar design elements. An interesting fact is that the Rolex Submariner and the Tudor Submariner were actually developed at the same time and launched just a few months apart from each other. The Tudor Submariner Ref 7928 is just as handsome as the big brother Rolex 5512/5513 references but again possess a unique charm and feeling that is uniquely Tudor!
This would make a great addition to a growing collection or be a great first piece as it retains the classic and timeless look of the Submariner while being unique and eye-catching!

CASE & BRACELET
Excellent case that has the original bevel still slightly visible and has light wear from use. Comes with its original fat font bezel insert which retains its original tritium filled pearl. This example also retains its original "No Dot / No Line" Twin lock crown which is original to the piece and era-specific. The inside of the case back is stamped: 7928 II. 67 and all case back engravings are clearly visible. The watch will come with a Rolex folded link 9315 bracelets with 380 end links and divers extension. The bracelet shows some stretch from use.
DIAL & HANDS
Excellent transitional dial with white printing and gilted T SWISS T, minute track, and markers. The dial is starting to take on a wonderful and sought after tropical coloration and the lacquer on the dial possesses fine cracking sometimes referred to as spidering. The piece retains the original ‘Lolipop’ sweep seconds hand. The lume plots remain intact and show some minor degradation when viewed under U.V. light. The hands show the presence of tritium when viewed under U.V. but are a shade lighter than the lume plots on the dial, which could indicate an early service replacement.
ACCESSORIES
None. The watch was just serviced and running perfectly at COSC spec and backed by a 1-year warranty on accuracy of time keeping
