1980s Heuer 2000 Quartz Chronograph (Ref. 283 306-1)
Fresh from the personal collection of style icon, automobile enthusiast, and Urban Outlaw himself, Magnus Walker, comes a 1980s Heuer 2000 Quartz Chronograph in fantastic condition.
Founded in 1860 in St-Imier, Switzerland, Heuer remains one of the most respected and beloved vintage brands in the watch world. Having put out iconic models like the Carrera, Autavia, Monaco, and Camaro, the brand's pentagonal logo became a calling card. But they put out a lot of other, equally cool pieces that never got quite the notoriety of their bigger siblings.
And this ref. 283 306-1 is a perfect example. Featuring a matte black PVD case, a fixed bezel with tachymeter scale, and bright red-tipped hands, this one practically screams "auto racing" but is actually a pretty rare piece (go ahead and try to Google it - you'll see what we mean). And thanks to it having a quartz-powered movement and a 38mm case size, it's incredibly light and highly wearable no matter who is wearing it.
Considering the watch's connection to the automobile world, it's no wonder Magnus had one of these in his collection – but it's now ready for it's next wrist. This is a great opportunity to own an incredible watch with a very unique history

CASE & BRACELET
The 38mm matte black PVD case exhibits no evidence of previous polishing, with very few signs of wear, crisp brushed finishing, and factory dimensions throughout. The case retains its original pump pushers and unsigned crown. The case back retains all of its original factory markings and finishing with minimal signs of wear. The watch comes supplied on its original unsigned Heuer PVD bracelet which does show some loss the the PVD finish. The bracelet will fit up to a 7 1/2-inch wrist.
DIAL & HANDS
The matte black dial is flawless, showing no damage or age. The tritium hour markers have taken on a light green coloration, with the sword-style handset matching them almost perfectly, though the minute hand shows a little darkening towards the center post. The red-tipped secondary hands add a fantastic pop of color to the otherwise monochromatic package, and are in excellent condition. Under UV light inspection, there is no degradation present in the dial or hands.
ACCESSORIES
